One link for a working actor: three bodies of work, casting stats and a number that dials.

The problem

He is hired for three different jobs — on screen, creative and assistant direction, and casting and production management — and a casting director, a producer and a brand each care about exactly one of them. A single gallery serves none of the three.

What’s on it

  • Three work sections: creative / assistant director, on screen, casting and production
  • Photo sets for each, with hover detail on non-touch devices
  • Casting card details — age range, height range, base city
  • Email and phone printed in plain text
  • Single repeated call to action: contact now

The calls

01

Split the work by the job being hired for, not by the shoot it came from.

The person opening the link already knows which of the three they need. Sorting by role means they see their answer first instead of scrolling through two they don't care about.

02

Put the casting stats where a casting director looks for them.

Age range, height and city are the first filter in the room. Printing them on the page turns a request-and-wait into a screenshot.

03

Left the email and phone number in plain text, ungated.

A contact form makes sense for a business with a sales pipeline. For a casting submission it adds a delay to the one thing the whole page exists to cause.

04

Told touch users which interactions they weren't getting.

The hover states carry real content on a laptop and nothing at all on a phone. Saying so in one line is more honest than leaving half the page inert and hoping nobody notices.

A casting director isn't browsing. They're filtering.
